That might be the case for yourself but you'd probably actually be surprised just how many Patreons a dev gets come from people on this site.

I was curious, bored, so I went and checked. Game's been in development for like 6 years now. In that time the dev managed to put out a whopping 2600 (!!!) renders (see exhibit A). In case you're wondering, that's less than a render per day during that whole time. I don't often talk shit about devs, but come the fuck on. And still so many people pay for that shit. Either he is a genius, just lucky, or a really good scam artist.
getting over the traumatising incident on sunday when the day was only 23 hours long is very difficult, and the road to recovery lasts until there is a 25h day.

Hello Patrons and Public alike!
As of today, I am officially unemployed. Mostly. Still a little work on contract but for the past few months I have been preparing to get ready to transition away from work and now you are going to see some changes.
Episode 7 will be out in May.
I will be doing Friday updates every Friday until the update, and there will be previews. I was going to do a special render for this update but as you can see by this image, I'm currently rendering an animation, which probably won't finish until late tonight where I'll then be able to pose a few renders for overnight batch rendering.
Unleashed is now my priority.

Your post says far more about you than it does about me or others that post here. There's no toxic routine, nothing more than a fleeting moment every now and then when I think about this thread or even F95.
Well, if that rule was rigorously enforced, the games forum would be mostly empty. Maybe off topic posts moaning about people bitching about updates rule should be enforced too.
