Grand Slam Track: Christopher Bailey clocks 400m world lead in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica – World Indoor champion and Olympic relay gold medal winner Christopher Bailey delivered an impressive world lead in the men’s 400m Long Sprint event at Grand Slam Track at the National Stadium.
Bailey showed good early-season form to stop the clock at 44.34 seconds, replacing the 44.59 seconds clocked by Botswana’s Bayapo Ndori on March 12 in South Africa.
Matthew Hudson-Smith was next best with a time of 44.65 with Vernon Norwood taking third with a time of 44.70.
