Woman dies inside courtroom in Evander

A woman believed to be in her fifties died at the Evander Magistrate’s Court on June 5.

The woman was about to testify in a robbery case when she collapsed as she was walking to the witness stand.

It is suspected that she died of a heart attack.

The court proceedings moved to another courtroom after the incident.
